HAYLEY DEXIS Live 2026: Planning a 100+ Exhibitor Event at Silverstone
On 1 October 2026, HAYLEY DEXIS brought its suppliers, customers and teams together at Silverstone for HAYLEY DEXIS Live, a major customer and supplier exhibition held during the company’s 50th anniversary year. The event featured more than 100 exhibiting manufacturers, hundreds of internal sales and technical staff, and around 250 invited end-user customers.
Access Displays delivered the exhibition infrastructure across three halls. But our role started long before the build, and went well beyond shell scheme.
A different kind of exhibition
Rather than exhibiting at a third-party trade show, HAYLEY DEXIS created and ran its own national industry event. That meant they decided which manufacturers attended, which customers were invited, where exhibitors were positioned and how the whole visitor experience came together, including awards to recognise key players in the industry.
The result was a showcase of the strength of the HAYLEY DEXIS network, with suppliers, customers and internal teams under one roof at one of the UK’s most prestigious engineering venues.
Planning from day one
Our involvement began in May 2025, around 16 months before the event. It would have been easy to treat an enquiry that early as a long way off. Instead, Reg Baker worked closely with Marketing Manager Josh Crampton from the first conversations about budget and venue.
Together they developed hall layouts, exhibitor allocations, shell scheme configurations and stand requirements, along with the many operational details that come with an event of this size. This was Josh’s first event at this scale, so a big part of our role was acting as a trusted advisor: quick responses, practical guidance and recommendations based on years of experience.
Flexible on the day
As the event drew closer, the requests kept coming, and our team handled them all. Fascias were removed from stands facing fire exits and for exhibitors with their own branding. Nameboards were updated as exhibitor locations changed. Some sections of shell scheme were taken down entirely because exhibitors arrived with their own display systems.
On site, Jonathan Himple and Nikki Leighfield made sure every exhibitor had what they needed. As Jonathan put it, “we never said no.”

Over 30 years at Silverstone
Access Displays has worked at Silverstone since 1994, and our team knows the venue well, from access routes and parking to build-up timings and storage. That experience made it easier to plan an early equipment drop, coordinate with the venue team and keep the build running smoothly.
Planning your own event?
