Payment Security & Fraud Prevention
Protecting Our Customers from Invoice Fraud
At Access Displays, we take the security of our customers seriously.
Unfortunately, invoice fraud and payment redirection scams are becoming increasingly common across UK businesses. Criminals may impersonate legitimate companies and attempt to persuade customers to make payments to fraudulent bank accounts.
To help protect our customers, we have implemented procedures designed to reduce the risk of payment fraud.
Our Commitment
- We will always notify you directly if our bank account details change.
- We will never ask you to make payment to a personal bank account.
- Any change to our payment details will be communicated through official company channels.
- We encourage all customers to verify any payment detail changes before making a payment.
Before Making Any Payment
If you receive:
- A request to change our bank account details
- An amended invoice containing different payment information
- An unexpected email requesting urgent payment
- Any communication that appears unusual or suspicious
please contact us directly before processing payment.
Verify By Telephone
Always use a known contact number obtained from our website or previous verified correspondence.
Do not rely on telephone numbers or contact details contained within the suspicious email itself.
How to Verify Our Details
If you need to confirm payment information, please contact our Accounts Team using our published contact details.
Telephone: 01793 613088
Email: accounts@accessdisplays.co.uk
Our team will be happy to confirm any information before payment is made.
Important Information About Bank Detail Changes
If Access Displays ever changes its bank account details:
- We will notify you directly.
- We recommend confirming the change by telephone.
- We may carry out additional verification procedures to protect both parties.
- We will never pressure you into making an immediate payment without appropriate verification.
What to Do if You Receive a Suspicious Email
If you receive a communication that claims to be from Access Displays but you are unsure of its authenticity:
- Do not make any payment.
- Do not reply to the email.
- Contact us immediately using our published contact details.
- Forward the suspicious email to us for investigation if requested.
Early reporting can help prevent fraud and protect other businesses.
Our Responsibility and Your Protection
While Access Displays takes reasonable precautions to protect our systems and communications, fraudsters can attempt to impersonate legitimate organisations.
For this reason, we strongly recommend that all payment detail changes are independently verified by telephone before payment is made.
Access Displays cannot accept responsibility for payments sent to incorrect bank accounts where revised banking instructions have not been independently verified through an authorised company contact.
