Objective: Create a consistent, reusable exhibition identity capable of being adapted for multiple UK and European exhibitions.
The Challenge
Pyramid International works with some of the world’s most recognisable entertainment and licensing brands, including Disney, Netflix, Harry Potter and Warner Bros.
With such high-profile brands represented across its product portfolio, its exhibition environment needed to feel professional, contemporary and premium, while putting the products themselves firmly at the centre of the visitor experience.
There was also another important requirement.
Pyramid International exhibits at several major trade shows throughout the year, including Brand Licensing Europe and Spring Fair in the UK, Ambiente in Frankfurt and the Toy Fair in Nuremberg.
Rather than creating a completely different stand for each event, the client wanted to maintain a consistent look and feel wherever they exhibited, while still having the flexibility to adapt the stand to different spaces and venues.
The Solution
Access Displays designed and delivered a 7m x 6m exhibition stand, reaching 4m in height, using the T3 modular exhibition stand system.
T3 was particularly well suited to the project because its modular construction allows the same core components to be reused and reconfigured for different exhibitions.
This meant we could create a recognisable Pyramid International exhibition identity that could travel from show to show, rather than starting again with a completely new stand each time.
The 4m-high structure gave the stand considerable visibility across the exhibition hall, with the large overhead branding helping visitors identify Pyramid International from a distance.
At eye level, the emphasis changed from corporate branding to the products and licences themselves.
Product-Focused Design
With such a large and diverse product range, simply placing products on shelves wasn’t enough.
We incorporated lighting directly into the product shelving, illuminating individual displays and helping the merchandise stand out against the clean white interior of the stand.
The combination of illuminated shelving, large-format graphics and carefully positioned brand imagery created a retail-style environment in which visitors could easily explore the different collections.
This was particularly important because the stand had to accommodate products associated with numerous major entertainment properties without becoming visually confusing or cluttered.
The architecture created the framework; the products and brands provided the colour and personality.
One Stand, Multiple Exhibitions
One of the biggest advantages of using T3 for this project was its flexibility.
The same system can be transported, rebuilt and reconfigured to suit different exhibition spaces, allowing Pyramid International to retain a familiar visual identity across events in both the UK and mainland Europe.
For a regular exhibitor, this offers several advantages: greater consistency from show to show, reuse of existing components, flexibility when stand dimensions change, reduced reliance on single-use construction and the ability to refresh graphics and product displays without replacing the entire stand.
It also means the investment made in developing the exhibition environment can work considerably harder over multiple events.
Results
The finished stand provided Pyramid International with a bright, highly visible and product-focused environment that reflected the quality of the brands it represents.
At 42m² and 4m high, the stand had a significant presence without allowing the structure itself to overpower the merchandise.
More importantly, it wasn’t designed for just one exhibition.
It was designed as part of a repeatable exhibition strategy – one that could give Pyramid International a recognisable presence at Brand Licensing Europe, Spring Fair, Ambiente Frankfurt and the Nuremberg Toy Fair.
That is where a modular exhibition system such as T3 really comes into its own.
Consistency doesn’t have to mean creating exactly the same stand every time. It means creating a brand environment that visitors recognise, wherever in the world they encounter you.
