In July 2015, Access Displays were approached by a private collector who decided his house was too overrun with his 1500 piece collection and wanted to set up his very own museum. The purpose of the museum was to showcase his collection, educate visitors on the history and progress of the glass industry, and provide a platform for local glass makers to display their works and sell some of their pieces.
In December 2015, 31 glass cabinets were manufactured and installed at the Isle of Wight Glass Museum.
Anton Doroszenko, the Museum Director at the Isle of Wight Glass Museum was extremely pleased with his new cabinets and the service he had received, but don’t just take our word for it; Anton has been kind enough to write a blog about his experience with Access Displays and the museum itself. The museum is scheduled to open on 19th March 2016 and admission is free.
